Training Objectives (Skills, know-how and knowledge):

The Research Master in Telecommunication and Network Systems is aimed at students wishing to have advanced theoretical training in the field of information technology- a promising field in terms of research and development. Indeed, this master has a double objective. Firstly, it aims at training students capable of integrating a university research team to prepare a doctoral thesis. The second objective is to provide students with a capacity for reflection allowing them to access the research and development laboratories of innovative companies in the disciplines of electronics and telecommunication.

This master belongs to the Engineering Sciences field. In fact, it offers an in-depth training in two complementary disciplines: Telecom Systems Architecture and Telecom Networks Engineering. Students follow a common core presenting the tools and fundamental notions in mathematics, communication theory, etc.

At the end of this common core, lasting two semesters, a differentiated course allows students to acquire skills specific to the field of research they wish to pursue during the fourth semester. Two options are offered during this semester. Telecom Systems Architecture and Telecom Networks Engineering

The « Telecom System Architecture » option focuses on the design, modeling and optimization of telecommunication circuits and systems.

The «Telecoms Network Engineering» option covers the architecture, design, administration, planning and security of telecommunication networks.
