Aims
Data Engineering and Decisional Systems (DEDS) aims at meeting the needs of companies working in the data sectors. This course introduces quality training in cutting-edge technologies related to data science and business intelligence. This branch mixes mathematical and statistical modelling, computer science, visualization and applications. In this way, it enables us to move from the storage and dissemination of information to the creation of knowledge. This transition from data to knowledge involves multiple challenges that require an interdisciplinary approach.
DEDS is based on three fields:
a.The statistical processing of information (ie: analysis of exploratory data, inferential statistics, machine learning, etc.),
b. Computer tools and languages (R, Python, Scala, Java, C, etc.)
c. Visualization and decision support tools.

The proposed syllabus consists of teaching units relating to current technological developments in information technology and artificial intelligence. This will make the branch open to modern technologies and ensure technological watch.

This engineering student will be able to :
  • Analyse and model statistical data,
  • Master computer tools and languages,
  • Master analytical tools,
  • Work in a team and in a confidential environment.
This engineering course combines theoretical-practical courses that are concluded by internship projects that join all aspects from acquisition to operation and analysis. The whole training cycle is spread over four semesters reserved for general academic training, with theoretical and applied aspects. At the end of semester four, each engineering student will be assigned to one of the following sub-branches (specialities):
Speciality 1 : Data Science (SD)

Speciality 2 : Business Intelligence (BI)
By the end of this training, graduates will be able to design decision-making systems from data collection to decision-making. Graduates will be able to work as business intelligence consultants, IT auditors, data architects, big data engineers, project management assistants, data quality specialists.
Admission requirements
The engineering training courses at ENET'COM are mainly intended for students who have passed the national exams for admission to engineering training cycles after two years of preparatory cycles in Mathematics and Physics (M-P) or Physics and Chemistry (P-C) or Technology (T).
These engineering courses are also intended for the best students at a rate of 10% of their intake capacity. They have obtained a degree in information and communication technologies, a degree (license) in applied mathematics, a degree in computer science, a degree in mathematics and computer science, a degree in computer engineering systems, a degree in computer technology, a degree in computer science applied to management or an equivalent diploma, following a national competition on file.
