The National School of Electronics and Telecommunications of Sfax ( ENET'Com ) is a public establishment of an administrative nature created by virtue of decree n° 1623 of July 9, 2002, and modified by decree n° 2014-105 of January 16, 2014 relating to the change of name of a higher education and research establishment, at the Technopôle de Sfax, Route de Tunis km 11, Cité El Ons , BP 1163, 3018, Sfax, Tunisia. The ENET'Com has modern premises with a land reserve of more than 14,358 m2.
 
The ENET'Com has a modern infrastructure with mainly 20 teaching rooms, an amphitheater, 33 laboratories for practical work, 1 project room, 1 meeting room, a 4C center, 1 reading room, 3 research laboratories, 1 socio-cultural room, a thesis room, a health unit, a store, a refreshment bar, 35 teachers' offices, 12 administrative offices, a library and green spaces for meetings and events.

ENET'Com belongs to the University of Sfax and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS). It is governed by the general laws and regulations of higher education, and the decree specific to engineering training n°2602 of December 25, 1995.

The school administration ensures, within the framework of the regulations in force and the directives of the supervisory authorities, the good operation of the institute. It also works in close collaboration with the various authorities and collaborates with a large national and international socio-economic community, and it is open to collaborations with foreign universities.

The four departments at ENET'Com include all the members of the teaching and research staff in the establishment belonging to the bodies of higher education and all other individuals or organizations practicing in one of the disciplines taught. The departments are :

  • Telecommunications
  • Mathematics and Decisional Systems
During the academic year 20201/2022, ENET'Com has got 124 permanent teacher-researchers providing training and supervision of students, including 14 Professors, 12 Lecturers, 81 Assistant Professors (including 5 qualified), 8 Assistants and 9 SST. Several other employees also participate in the training: 3 from secondary school experts, 19 contract workers and 17 Experts and 47 temporary workers. The ENET'Com has a quality committee named and supervised by the president of the University of Sfax after consulting the scientific council of the establishment. The purpose of this committee is to set up a QMS for the evaluation and monitoring of the various actions of each process for internal quality assurance AQI. The operation of the school is based on efficient and transparent management processes, it is being concretized by the establishment of a specific quality assurance system for educational organizations ( SMOE ISO 21001 : 2018 ) which organizes its management system and its information system in order to ensure control of its resources and share knowledge about the functioning of the school.
