As part of efforts to support scientific activities and foster engagement with the regional community, students from the National School of Electronics and Telecommunications in Sfax, part of the University of Sfax, participated in the national hackathon on eco-responsible tourism and artificial intelligence, held at Chadli Bendjedid University in El Tarf, Algeria, from April 14 to 16, 2026.
This event, part of the 5+5 Dialogue program, brought together 23 teams from several universities in both countries, fostering enriching scientific and personal exchanges.
This experience helped strengthen the students’ skills in innovation, collaboration, and the development of solutions related to sustainable tourism and artificial intelligence.
Congratulations to students Mohamed Jmel and Youssef Maghrabi for their 5th-place finish.
Thanks to the Presidency of the University of Sfax for its support, to our colleagues at Chadli Bendjedid University in El Tarf for organizing the event, as well as to Mr. Achraf Mtibaa (ENET’Com) and Ms. Houda Ayadi (University of Sfax) for their guidance and support.
